Building & Growing
Over 3 years ago, a lack of neurodiverse resources led to a small family in Sutton Coldfield creating a wonderful group of their own. This family hand-crafted what Onwards is today, a support system, a lifeline for those who need it.
Over the past three years, immense growth has arose within the group, it now has over 100 members! Further growth is inevitable, as this group offers support that is indispensable within the community.

How we support our members
Friendship
Onwards aims to build and strengthen friendships within the group by setting up group activities to encourage communication and bonding.
Community
Onwards members feel a sense of community when they spend time with people just like them.
Inclusivity
Onwards is built on a foundation of understanding for individual needs. The group is specifically curated to reduce the anxiety and overwhelm of its neurodiverse members.

Onwards is the first place I've felt completely understood as an autistic person. For such a reasonable entrance fee, I get access to activities and peaceful spaces when I'm overwhelmed. My appreciation goes to everyone who makes this safe, sensory-friendly community possible.
